Below is a list of frequently asked questions regarding our office and dental treatment we offer:
New Patient Appointment With A Cleaning:
During your first visit, you will have a half-hour visit with the dentist and a one-hour cleaning appointment with one of our dental hygienists. The dentist will conduct a comprehensive examination of your current dental health including any necessary x-rays and discuss with you any recommended treatment. The hygienist will then take over and get your teeth in great shape.
New Patient With An Emergency Appointment:
The dentist will conduct a limited evaluation of your immediate problem diagnosing the issue and recommending any necessary treatments. If time is available, we will do our best to treat your condition at the same appointment. If the recommended treatment requires more time than is available, we will schedule you as soon as possible.
Visit at least twice per year
Visiting the dentist regularly is important so that we can clean the areas that are less accessible at home and we can diagnose any potential issues at an early stage. Some individuals with more chronic issues should visit the dentist more frequently. Our team will discuss the appropriate recall interval with you during your visit.
We accept most dental insurance plans
We accept any dental insurance plan that allows you to see the dental office of your choice. We are a preferred provider for many dental plans and others were are considered out of network. The difference between in network and out of network coverage often results in a relatively small increase in out of pocket cost only when certain treatments are provided. With almost all plans, whether your are in network or out of network, routine visits and cleanings are covered at 100%. Since there are so many insurance providers with many different types of plans, it is best to contact our front office to confirm your plan coverage.
We offer an in-house membership plan
For patients that don’t have dental coverage, we offer a membership plan that will cover your routine cleanings each year and provide a discount on any necessary treatment. Please inquire with our front desk to get more information if you are interested. You are also welcome to pay for services via cash, credit, check or health savings account.

Dental anxiety is very common and we understand that visiting the dentist is no one’s favorite thing to do. We do our best to make you relaxed in our friendly, comfortable environment and keep things as easy and painless as possible. Nitrous sedation is always available for any visit and can make visits much more enjoyable.
We see patients of all ages - from 0-120
Unless there are immediate dental concerns, we usually recommend children come in for their first visit between the ages of 1 and 2. On the first visit for a child, we will evaluate their developing teeth and discuss recommended home care. If appropriate, we will also clean your child’s teeth.
