In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we're doing our best to keep our patients and our staff healthy and safe. We are closely monitoring the situation, and our dental office remains open for regular business hours.
Although we have always gone above and beyond the recommended protocols to maintain a hygienic environment in our office, we have made further precautionary adjustments to protect our patients and our staff. We encourage patients to wash their hands when they arrive. All patients will be asked to rinse with a special mouth wash prior to dental treatment. Also, our doctor and staff will not be shaking hands when greeting patients.
If you have an appointment scheduled and you are experiencing a fever or any cold, flu-like, or respiratory symptoms, please give our office a call and we can reschedule your appointment for a later date. Also, if you have underlying health conditions that may put you at greater risk, please plan on rescheduling all non-emergency dental treatment. If you suspect you may be ill, but are experiencing an urgent dental problem, our staff will put you in contact with Dr. Smits who can discuss your symptoms over the phone to determine how to best address your problem.
Stay well and we look forward to seeing you soon.
